i recently came across a highly provocative audio about @megaeth_labs from a guy who runs a "private club" on telegram. audio is full of emotions. not sure why exactly, maybe he overbought fluffles or something? idk. tldr: speaker says: "megaeth is overpriced, team looks unserious, and office feels like a student dorm. mainnet keeps getting pushed back, even though signals from team pointed to q3. one member acts too flashy (bread tattoos and posts), which he sees as a sign of a twisted “culture”. tge with long vestings wont save it anyway. all of this leaves him disgusted and doubting both ethereum’s values and private investing in general." fully disagree with it. "network is overpriced" - if we talk about echo round, valuation and terms were actually sweet. about fluffle, even at $5b cap, nft distribution gives a 10x from mint price. and of course this is a bet not just on price for gains, but on one of the strongest networks (real users, real products, real teams). i also think eco airdrops / whitelists for holders are very possible. plus the fact that instead of giving allocation to vcs, team chose community (owned by the people). "team looks unserious" + "office feels like a student dorm" - those "dorm vibes" have often been the starting point for biggest companies. weve all seen dozens of movies about how it started in garages. do we really need pomp and pretentious offices??? i doubt it. "mainnet launch takes too long" - hard to beat delay time from monad airdrop, so nothing to stress about. i actually suspect launch is possible in the coming months. with eth at this price, when else if not now? maybe right after megamafia 2? "one member behaves too flashy" - he meant bread, tattoos, some comments under posts idk not get it fully. i see it as pure media attention. everyone has their role. and honestly, what difference does it make if someone shows their life, as long as they don’t disrespect anyone? in general... that audio isn’t the only fud i’ve seen thrown at mega in a last weeks (esp after gte choose to leave). complaints about "block speed" no longer surprise anyone and similar stuff… i liked lamboland’s recent post where he said that social hate is just noise, real focus should always stay on execution and supporters...! so, shields up for megaeth, hold the line. on awaiting mode for mafia 2.0 :)
